After serving more than 13 years in Pet industry, one of our global clientele based in Portugal trusted iTreeni’s eCommerce web development services to transform their business from multiple local stores to online web-store and make their service offerings virtually available everywhere. This site has a range of products for a variety of pats like Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Birds, Cats, Fishes, etc.

This portal has proved to be a one-stop virtual shopping destination for pet lovers where they find almost all products for a pet like food, diapers, nail-cutters, aquarium accessories, items of clothing, etc.

Features

2 kind of users, Super Admin, and Consumers. Super Admin would manage product inventory, order-shipment, Consumer Inquiries, etc. Consumers who would consume product offerings.
Easy-to-use web GUI to facilitate users to easily search between products and brands for pets.
Developed functionality for site admin to enable product discounts based on coupons or seasonal discounts.
Support multiple payment gateways like Paypal, Direct bank transfer, through credit card or cash-on-delivery(only for Portuguese citizen).
Automatic order notifications through emails and SMSs to notify users of their placed orders.
30 days return policy only available for Portuguese citizens.

Challenges We Overcome

Since this is an eCommerce website, we have to ensure 100% uptime to maintain brand value and for great user experience. We have set-up a website on Amazon AWS with an alert that notifies the network team and we respond quickly.
This site has more than 1000 concurrent users which will increase when Site admin declares sale. Our network team has set-up servers on Amazon in a way that it will increase CPU capacity when server load reaches 90% capacity.
Use of Cloud-Fair CDN for images and media files to load the website in the least minimum time.
